BY THE NUMBERS: 7
Through 10 games, the ninth-ranked Monarchs are a perfect 7-0 when they have less turnovers than the opposition and are an equal 7-0 when they out-rebound the competition. On the offensive end, the Monarchs are...wait for it...7-0 when shooting 45% or better from the field. The Monarchs, 8-2 overall, head to Kellogg Wednesday for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off.

BY THE NUMBERS: 18
Freshman guard and former MHSAA State Champion at nearby Warren De La Salle, Tamario Adley, led the Monarchs to a thrilling 68-66 victory over (RV) Cuyahoga Friday (Dec. 3) with a team-high 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting. The team-leading effort was Adley's second 18-point game of the season and was the third time he tallied 18 or more points through 10 games played.

MONARCH REWIND
The Monarchs made plays down the stretch to stave off Cuyahoga, a team receiving votes in the last week's national poll, and earn a 68-66 win Friday (Dec. 2) in Warren. The Monarchs, now 8-2 on the season, led by as many as 12 in the second half before the visiting Triceratops (8-2) rallied late in a game that went down to the final buzzer.

STAT LEADERS
Coming off of another strong game, Tamario Adley leads the Monarchs with an average of 12.5 points per game and is followed in double figures by Aidan Rubio at 10.1 points per contest.  Tymias Williams and Jaylen Daughtery lead a balanced effort on the glass with 5.8 and 5.6 rebounds per game, respectively, while Linden Holder's 4.4 assists per contest leads a Macomb team that averages 21.7 assists per game.

BACK INTO THE TOP 10!
After a thrilling victory over a team just outside of the Top-20 and shakeup atop the poll, the Monarchs have vaulted back into the Top-10 at No. 9 in this week's NJCAA DII Rankings. The Monarchs, 8-2 overall with both losses coming to NJCAA DI powers, earned 79 poll points and are currently the top ranked team in the MCCAA and NJCAA Region XII.

REGION XII RECORD
After topping Cuyahoga last week, the Monarchs remained perfect against NJCAA Region XII opponents at 6-0 on the season. As part of the perfect 6-0 mark, the Monarchs are 3-0 against the MCCAA West, 2-0 against the OCCAC and 1-0 vs. Independents.

A LOOK AT: KELLOGG
Led by Brett White's 22.7 points per game, the Kellogg Community College Bruins enter the week with a 4-3 record after winning their last two outings. White is followed in double figures by Rasheed Dyson's 16.6 points per game for a Bruins team that averages 77 points per contest on 43.9% shooting from the floor and a 33.3% mark from 3-point land.

A LOOK AT: #4 NIAGARA COUNTY
Top-10 Showdown in New York! The Monarchs will take part in Niagara County CC's T-Wolves Holiday Classic this weekend and will begin the classic with a showdown against the undefeated and fourth-ranked Thunderwolves Saturday at 7 p.m. At 8-0 on the season, the Thunderwolves average 90.1 points per game as part of a balanced roster that has eight players netting seven or more points per contest.

A LOOK AT: MONROE
The Monroe CC Tribunes enter the week at 5-6 overall after playing a highly-challenging schedule to-date. The Tribunes played No. 4 Niagara County earlier this season and held a nine-point halftime edge before losing the lead late. The Tribunes are led by Ishmael Smith and Khalid Moreland who average 16.4 and 14.1 points per game, respectively.
