Following a tough week on the court, Macomb Men's Basketball slipped from No. 6 to No. 11 in this week's NJCAA Division II Rankings. The 11th ranked Monarchs enter the week with an overall record of 13-5 and a 1-2 record in conference play. One of four ranked teams in the MCCAA East, the Monarchs visit No. 8 SC4 Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

BY THE NUMBERS: 61
The Monarchs No. 1 scoring defense in NJCAA Division II will be put to the test when they face a high-octane SC4 team that averages 95.4 points per game, a total good for seventh in the association. Entering the matchup, the Monarchs are the only team in the country allowing fewer than 61 points per game (60.9). Allen County is next at 61.6.

MCCAA EAST GAUNTLET
The gauntlet that is the MCCAA Eastern Conference rolls on this week as the No. 11 Monarchs visit No. 8 St. Clair County Community College (SC4) Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in Port Huron. The Monarchs return home Saturday to take on Oakland Community College (OCC) at 3 p.m. to round out another challenging week in conference play.

STAT LEADERS
After tallying 15 points Wednesday and 16 on the road Saturday, Tamario Adley continues to lead the Monarchs in scoring at 13.3 points per game (PPG), while Juwan Maxey and Aidan Rubio check in next with an equal 10.4 PPG. Tymias Williams is closing in on double figures scoring with 9.3 PPG and is pulling down a team-best 6.1 rebounds per game. Linden Holder checks in with a team-leading 3.8 assists per game.

WILLIAMS' BIG WEEK
While the results didn't go the Monarchs way, freshman forward and former Dakota High School standout, Tymias Williams, had a breakout week for the Blue & White. In two games against top-15 opponents, Williams averaged 16 points and nine rebounds after posting 19 points and 11 boards against Henry Ford and 13 points at Mott.

BRING CANNED GOODS
Before we go over the SC4 matchup, let's discuss how to get in to Wednesday's contest. Tickets are available online and at the door, but fans can get in free by bringing canned goods or non-perishable food items to SC4. This applies to the men's and women's games Wednesday.

A LOOK AT: #8 SC4
The eighth-ranked Skippers enter Wednesday's game with a 16-2 record overall and a 2-1 mark in the highly-competitive MCCAA East. Ancilla transfer Jakylen Thomas paces five Skippers in double figures at 18.1 points per game, while Caron Clayton and Mott transfer, Kelvin Balfour, follow with 17.2 and 15.4 points per game, respectively.

A LOOK AT: OCC
The OCC Raiders enter the week with an 11-5 overall record overall and a 1-2 mark in conference play. RECENT HISTORY VS SC4 & OCC
The Monarchs are 6-3 at SC4 over the past 10 seasons and enter Wednesday's tilt against the No. 8 Skippers with a two-game winning streak in the series after winning both games last season by 19 points.
