BY THE NUMBERS: 11
After going 1-1 last week, Macomb Men's Basketball checks in with an overall record of 19-7 and a 7-4 mark in the MCCAA East. The record, combined with the Monarchs strength of schedule, has the Blue & White positioned at No. 11 nationally in this week's NJCAA Division II Rankings, released Tuesday (Feb. 21) by the association.

BY THE NUMBERS: 25
Have a day, Tymias Williams! The freshman forward continued his ascension with a career-high 25 points in a 97-78 home win over No. 13 SC4. The 25-point performance followed games of 15 and 18 points by Williams in his past two outings. Williams added eight rebounds, three assists and a pair of blocks as part of a career day.

TIED FOR SECOND PLACE
The tiebreaker isn't on their side, but the Monarchs enter the week in a tie for second place with Mott at 7-4 in league play. With only three games remaining, the Monarchs will look to close out strong in hopes of securing the No. 2 seed out of the MCCAA Eastern Conference and seek a bid to the NJCAA Region XII Great Lakes District B Bracket.

STAT LEADERS
A trio of Monarchs check in above 10 points per game (PPG) with Tamario Adley leading the way at 12.5 per contest. Aidan Rubio follows at 10.8 PPG and Tymias Williams nets 10.2 PPG after pouring in 25 in the SC4 win. Jaylen Daughtery corrals a team-leading six rebounds per game and Linden Holder dishes out a team-best four assists for a Monarchs team that averages 19.6 assists per game.

BIG PERFORMANCES IN SC4 WIN
While Tymias Williams highlighted the 97-78 win over No. 13 SC4 with a career-high 25 points, the Monarchs earned the team victory behind several other big performances, including: Jaylen Daughtery (career-high 18pts, 11 reb), Aidan Rubio (18 pts, career-high 10 reb), Tamario Adley (16 pts, 6 reb, 5 ast) and Linden Holder (8 pts, 7 ast, 5 reb).

BALANCE IS KEY
With three players averaging double digits scoring and eight netting seven or more points per game, the Monarchs have showcased balance all season long. The balance has been key as the Monarchs are 11-3 when four or more players reach double figures this season.

CHECKING IN ON: OCC
The Raiders of Oakland Community College (OCC) enter the week battling for a spot in the upcoming Region XII Tournament at 5-6 in the MCCAA East, tied for the fifth and final spot with Wayne County Community College. The Monarchs won the first meeting of the season with OCC by a 78-62 margin in Warren on Jan. 28.

CHECKING IN ON: WAYNE COUNTY
The Wayne County Community College District Wildcats are in battle for playoff positioning with OCC as the teams enter the week tied for the fifth and final playoff spot out of the MCCAA East at 5-6 in conference play. The Wildcats are balanced offensively with four players averaging 10 or more points per game. The Monarchs won the first contest with the Wildcats this season, a 76-47 home triumph on Feb. 1.

SOPHOMORE NIGHT AHEAD
Join us for the final home game of the season next Tuesday (Feb. 28) and help us celebrate the careers of our sophomores: Shawn Brown, Jaylen Daughtery, Cameron McEvans and Tom McNelis! The sophomores will be honored during a pregame ceremony roughly five minutes prior to tip-off against Jackson College.

ONLY THREE GAMES REMAIN
Only three games remain on the regular season schedule! The Monarchs hit the road for a pair of away games this week before returning home for their season finale against Jackson on Feb. 28—a rare Tuesday night tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
