MELBOURNE, Fla. – Macomb Softball's three-game winning streak came to an end Friday (March 8) as the Bobcats of Bryant & Stratton Wisconsin picked up 5-0 and 12-0 victories over the Monarchs at the Space Coast Complex. The pair of setbacks shifted the Monarchs' record to 4-6 overall at the end of the Florida trip.

Savanna Clark (St. Clair, Mich./St. Clair) led the Monarchs in the opener with a pair of hits and stole a base, while Carleigh Bilpo (Sterling Heights, Mich./Henry Ford II) connected on a hit of her own in the 5-0 decision.

With the Florida trip complete, the Monarchs will return to Michigan and have a little over a week to practice and prepare for a MCCAA Eastern Conference slate that begins with a doubleheader on March 19 at Schoolcraft.
