Softball Runs Win Streak Over SC4 to 15 Games as Prasnjak and Bilpo Combine for Five Home Runs in Tuesday’s Sweep

The Monarchs swept the season series with the Skippers after winning game one, 6-3, and taking game two in run rule fashion, 17-3.

MARYSVILLE, Mich. – Macomb Softball lifted its win streak versus St. Clair County Community College (SC4) to 15 games with a doubleheader sweep on Tuesday (April 30) at Marysville City Park. The Monarchs won game one, 6-3, before taking game two in run rule fashion by a 17-3 final tally. The pair of wins secured the season sweep over SC4 and propelled the Monarchs to 23-13 overall and 19-7 in MCCAA Eastern Conference play.

The Monarchs wrap up regular season action with back-to-back doubleheaders in Warren against Henry Ford later this week. On Thursday, the Monarchs will be the visiting team on the scoreboard when they take on the Hawks for a conference twin bill at 3 p.m. Then on Friday, the Monarchs will host Sophomore Day and return to the traditional home team in Warren for the 3 p.m. doubleheader.
