MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Monarchs fell to 0-4 on the season with a 7-2 setback to a Siena Heights University split squad and a 16-9 loss to Kalamazoo Valley Community College on Tuesday (March 4) at the Space Coast Games.
At the time of this release, the Monarchs are slated to head to Fort Pierce, Fla., on Wednesday to take on NJCAA Division I No. 1 and reigning national champion, Indian River State.
As for Tuesday's games, the Monarchs ended the day with a nine-run outburst against Kalamazoo Valley, led by the red-hot bat of
Paige Muehlbrandt who connected on three doubles and drove in a total of five runs.
Aubrey Rich tripled and drove in a pair of runs, while
Alexa Garofalo,
Sydney Masterson and
Sydney Urban all hit a double.
