WARREN, Mich. – Not their day. Macomb Softball committed a host of errors in an 11-0 game one loss to Mott Community College before falling in game two by a 9-1 decision to shift to 9-12 overall and 5-6 in the MCCAA East.
The visiting Bears vaulted into a first place tie in the MCCAA East at 11-3 and improved their overall record to 19-8 with the pair of wins in Warren on Thursday (April 9).
Riley McLaughlin and
Aubrey Rich paced the Monarchs in game one with a hit each.
Samantha Consiglio went 2-for-2 in game two with a double and
Allison Wineski drove in the lone run on an RBI double in the fourth inning.
