WARREN, Mich. – After finishing their season with a 17-13 overall record, a 7-5 mark in MCCAA Eastern Conference play and the program's latest trip to the playoffs, the Macomb Volleyball team received plenty of MCCAA and NJCAA Region XII postseason awards. The postseason honors were released Tuesday (Nov. 11) by the MCCAA and NJCAA Region XII following a vote of each conference's head coaches.

Sophomore Jordan Pflaum led the Monarch honorees as she earned All-Region, All-MCCAA, and First Team All-Eastern Conference. She started all 30 matches for Macomb this season, registering 349 kills and 287 digs. The 349 kills ranked sixth in both the MCCAA and Region XII. Pflaum's 430.5 points was good for fifth in all of Region XII this season. 

Korin Hutton was named All-MCCAA, First Team All-Eastern Conference and  earned a nod on the Eastern Conference All-Freshman Team. The freshman made her mark at the setter position with 915 assists in 28 matches played. The 915 assists landed Hutton third overall in the MCCAA and fourth in Region XII. She ranked second in the MCCAA and third in the region with 8.80 assists per set.

Sophomores Kaley Eller and Alexis Cunha both earned Second Team All-Eastern Conference honors. Eller was second on the team with 257 kills in 30 matches, while Cunha tallied a team-high 366 digs. 

The final Monarch to earn an award was freshman Caryss Terry, earning Honorable Mention All-Eastern Conference honors. Terry was a force at the net with a team-best 14 solo blocks and 83 block assists. The 0.86 blocks per set ranked Terry sixth in the MCCAA and 10th in Region XII.

Macomb had an outstanding season, reaching the Great Lakes District Tournament for the third straight year and posting their best record since 2021. The Monarchs also finished with the most wins in the Lauren "Doogie" Rishell coaching era.
