UNIVERSITY CENTER – A great first season back on the indoor track for Macomb Track & Field wrapped up on Friday (Feb. 21) at the Saginaw Valley State University Tune Up.
Four Monarchs competed in Friday's finale as
Emma Dell,
Ava LaMilza and
Erin Rowan all ran in the 3K and Mile events while
Lisaleen Ung joined the crew for the 4x400m relay.
LaMilza, a 2023 Cross Country All-American, paced the Monarchs in the Mile with a 12
th place finish at 5:32.74. Dell and Rowan were next, finishing back-to-back in PR fashion with times of 5:40.83 and 5:42.04, respectively.
In the 3K, LaMilza once again led the way, this time finishing fourth with a 10:50.55. Dell checked in 10
th with a PR of 11:28.21 and Rowan set a personal best in 13
th at 11:31.78.
