BEREA, Ohio – The 2026 outdoor track & field regular season concluded on Friday (May 8) with a trip to Berea, Ohio, to compete in the Harrison Dillard Twilight hosted by Baldwin Wallce University. The year ended in style for several Monarchs as the Blue & White put the finishing touches on another record-breaking campaign.

In the women's 5K, Erin Leverenz posted a PR time od 22:37, while Erin Rowan closed out her time as a Monarch with a time of 20:03 and Emma Dell notched a time of 19:45.

On the men's side of the 5K, Michael Nivala Jr. raced his way to a PR and a NJCAA Division I National Qualifying time of 15:02. With the stellar performance, Nivala was able to cross the finish line with the 37^th best time in the NJCAA this season.

Brandon Penberthy made the most of his final race in a Macomb uniform with a 3000m steeplechase mark of 10:07 to finish well ahead of several NCAA Division II and Division III counterparts.
