BY THE NUMBERS: 19
The Monarchs crashed the boards early and often on their way to out-rebounding Bryant & Stratton Ohio 54-35 overall and 21-12 on the offensive glass in Tuesday's (Nov. 15) thrilling 63-62 victory. The large differential on the offensive glass played a key role in the one possession game as the Monarchs went on to outscore the Bobcats
19-2 in second chance points.
BY THE NUMBERS: 53
Settle in, make adjustments and take over! The second quarter has been kind to the Monarchs thus far as the Blue & White have outscored the opposition by
53 points (102-49) in the frame through their first five games. The impressive second quarter play was on display once again in Tuesday's win as the Monarchs outscored the Bobcats 20-4 in the period.
INSIDE THE WIN
While the strong rebounding effort and second quarter performance highlighted last week's one-point win, the Monarchs were able to earn the hard-fought victory over Bryant & Stratton behind a balanced performance from the entire active roster. In all, seven Monarchs tallied six or more points with
Jaelynn Jones (13 points) pacing a 37-8 advantage over the Bobcats in bench scoring.
TOUNSEL CRASHES THE BOARDS
What a game out of freshman forward
Tamia Tounsel! The former Dakota standout helped will the Monarchs to victory last week behind a career-best 16 rebounds, half of which came on the offensive glass! With eight offensive rebounds, Tounsel helped propel a 19-2 edge in second chance points and corralled 75% of Bryant & Stratton's total offensive rebounds (12) on her own.
A LOOK AHEAD
Tuesday means game day for Macomb Women's Basketball as the Monarchs will host their third consecutive game on a Tuesday when the Vikings of Glen Oaks Community College visit Warren for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off. The Monarchs will have the rest of the week off from game action and will return to the floor (you guessed it) next Tuesday at Madonna.
BALANCE ON DISPLAY
Through five games this season, eight of the Monarchs' 10 active players have started at least one game while all 10 players have received significant playing time. All 10 Monarchs have played in every game (while active) and average more than 10 minutes per contest.
A LOOK AT: GLEN OAKS
The Vikings of Glen Oaks will visit Warren Tuesday with a bit of momentum after toppling the reigning NJCAA Division III National Champions and current No. 1, Owens Community College, by a 64-59 final in Ohio last week. Eliana Wilson led the Vikings in the upset with 18 points, 17 rebounds and three blocks while shooting 50% from the field and 75% from the charity stripe.
MONARCH STAT LEADERS
Returning All-Conference selection
Amy Jackson paces the Monarchs offensively with 15.0 points per game through five games this season. Jackson also leads the way defensively with 3.6 steals per game, while

THIS WEEK IN MONARCH HISTORY
