WARREN, Mich. – Macomb Women's Basketball will wrap up the regular season Tuesday (Feb. 24) with a road trip to Jackson College to take on the Jets. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
The Monarchs enter the final game of regular season action with a 20-8 overall record and an 9-4 mark in MCCAA East play.
PLAYOFF PICTURE: The Monarchs have clinched a spot in the Great Lakes District A Championship and will play Jackson College in the quarterfinals on March 3 at 5:30 p.m. The host of the quarterfinal game will be determined by Tuesday's winner as a Macomb victory secures a postseason home contest while a Jackson victory results in a regular season split and the Jets winning the common opponent tiebreaker.
The winner of the March 3 quarterfinal game will move on to Mott Community College—the host of the 2026 Great Lakes District Championships—for the semifinals on March 6. The Great Lakes District A Championship is set for March 8 at Mott.

A LOOK AT JACKSON: Head coach Heather Brown has led the team to another successful season as the Jets enter Tuesday's regular season finale at 17-11 overall and 8-5 in the MCCAA East. The Jets are coming off an 85-64 road loss to No. 2 Schoolcraft on Saturday.
Reese Williams averages a team-high 16.9 points per game to rank third in the MCCAA. Maddux Locke is the only other double-digit scorer with 11.5 points per contest. Locke leads Jackson in rebounding with 6.8 boards per night.
The Jets rank fifth in the MCCAA in scoring at 78.5 points per game.
A LOOK AT MACOMB: The Monarchs celebrated Sophomore Day Saturday afternoon with a 92-64 victory over Wayne County Community College District at the Matthaei Center in Detroit.

MyKenzi Harris led Macomb with 19 points while Forris and
Hannah Tamou netted 18 each. McWilliams registered 10 points, eight rebounds and five assists, while Galovich recorded 10 points and five assists. The Monarchs shot 45.9% from the field and 42.9% from 3-point land in the win.
Entering Tuesday, Forris is leading the team in scoring with 14.5 points per game while Harris has posted 13.2 points per night. McWilliams is averaging 10.6 points and a team-leading 7.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.
As a team, the Monarchs average 71.8 points per contest to rank eighth in the MCCAA.
EARLIER THIS SEASON: The Monarchs earned a 69-64 victory over the Jets back on Jan. 31 on the campus of Wayne State University.
It was the first time the Monarchs defeated the Jets since the latter joined the Eastern Conference and the first victory in the all-time series since Nov. 11, 2017.
