Rayonna Armstrong dropped in a team-high and tied her season-high with 18 points in the Monarchs narrow loss at home to SC4 over the weekend. A World Exposure Report All-American as a freshman, Armstrong has now scored 15 or more points in eight (8) out of her 22 games played in a Monarch uniform.

Amy Jackson finish in first and second place all-time in 3-pointers made (3PM) in a season? After shattering the record last year with 84 3PM, Jackson enters the week with 65 3-pointers on the season and is only 11 triples away from eclipsing the old program record of 75 and seeing her name No. 1 and No. 2 all-time in single season 3PM!
BIG WEEK AHEAD
After a 1-1 week on the home hardwood, the Monarchs will hit the road for a pair of pivotal conference games this week when they visit OCC Wednesday evening and Wayne County Saturday afternoon. Wednesday's game at OCC is a battle for fourth place and the No. 4 seed out of the MCCAA East in one of the upcoming NJCAA Region XII Tournaments.

The Monarchs are once again heading to the postseason! Last week, the Monarchs clinched a spot in the upcoming Region XII Tournament with a 54-49 win over Mott. With the win, the Monarchs will play a first round game March 7 (site/opponent/time TBD). The Monarchs enter the week in a tie for the No. 4 seed with OCC.
THOMAS IS SIX TRIPLES AWAY
Rylee Thomas is shooting a team-best 36.1% from 3-point land and has made 44 3-pointers in 22 games played this season. The 44 triples has Thomas six away from joining 20 other Monarchs to make 50 3-pointers in a single season.
CHECKING IN ON: OCC
The Raiders of Oakland Community College (OCC) enter the week with a 17-7 overall record and a 6-5 mark in MCCAA Eastern Conference play. The Raiders won the first meeting of the season, a 59-52 victory over the Monarchs in Warren on Jan. 28. As a team, the Raiders average 61.9 points per game and hold their opposition to 52.1 points per outing.
CHECKING IN ON: WAYNE COUNTY
The Wayne County Community College District Wildcats enter the final full week of regular season action 2-19 overall and 1-10 in MCCAA Eastern Conference action. The Wildcats are the best team in the conference at getting to the charity stripe with 23 free throws attempted per game (14 made FTs per game). The Monarchs won the first meeting of the season, a 73-67 victory in Warren behind 23 points by
