BY THE NUMBERS: 164
The single season and career 3-point record holder, Amy Jackson, was at it again last week in Macomb's 73-67 home win over Wayne County. Jackson buried seven triples for a game-high 23 points to lead the Monarchs to victory and, in the process, brought her career total to 164 3-pointers made (previous Macomb record: 129).

BY THE NUMBERS: 281
After picking up another win last week, we thought it would be a good time to check in on the career wins total for 14th year head coach Jay Ritchie! At the time of this release, Coach Ritchie has amassed an incredible 281 career wins and a .740 winning percentage. The impressive career averages out to just over 20 wins per season!

SECOND HALF OF LEAGUE PLAY
Let's get it started! The second half of MCCAA Eastern Conference play begins this week when the Monarchs visit No. 17 Schoolcraft Wednesday (Feb. 8) for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off. The week will wrap up in Dearborn Saturday (Feb. 11) with a 1 p.m. contest at Henry Ford. The Monarchs return home next week with a pair of games in Warren (Feb. 15 vs. Mott and Feb. 18 vs. SC4).

STAT LEADERS
After a another strong week, Amy Jackson continues to lead the team in scoring at 12.4 points per game. Ray Armstrong checks in next at 9.7 points per game, while Tamia Tounsel accounts for 9.2 points and a team-best 8.5 rebounds per contest. Valina Hudgins averages 7.4 points and 7.8 rebounds and Kamryn Richards leads the assist department with 4.1 per outing.

OPPONENT UNDER 60 AGAIN
Despite falling just short in a road upset bid at Jackson Saturday (Feb. 4), the Monarchs held the host Jets to 54 points on 35% shooting in a narrow 54-48 decision. After holding the red-hot Jets to 54 points, the Monarchs have now held opponents to 60 points or less on 12 occasions and have earned a 10-2 record in those contests.

ELLIS EFFICIENT AT JACKSON
One of several bright spots offensively last week was the play of Jasmine Ellis at Jackson. Ellis shot 6-of-8 from the field for a team-high 12 points and added seven rebounds in 21 minutes of work. Ellis is averaging 5.9 points and 5.2 rebounds per game this season.

A LOOK AT: #17 SCHOOLCRAFT
After starting the year 14-0 and shooting to as high as No. 6 nationally, the Schoolcraft Ocelots suffered back-to-back setbacks last week to fall to No. 17 in the latest poll with a 14-2 overall record and 5-2 mark in the MCCAA East. The Ocelots are balanced offensively with four players averaging double figures scoring and six tallying seven or more points per contest.

A LOOK AT: HENRY FORD
After a year away from conference play, the Hawks of Henry Ford have returned to action this season and have amassed a 3-17 overall record and a 1-6 mark in the MCCAA East. The Monarchs won the first meeting with the Hawks, a 64-47 victory in Warren on Jan. 18. Shawnta Standifer leads the way for the Hawks and averages 17.3 of the team's 51.2 points per game.

HUNGER GAMES & SOPHOMORE DAY
Believe it or not, the 2022-23 regular season is nearing an end and only three home games remain on the schedule. On Feb. 18, Macomb will host its MCCAA Hunger Games doubleheader where all fans will get in FREE with a non-perishable food item donation. Sophomore Day will follow in the home finale on Feb. 28 (pre-game ceremony).
