How about the Macomb careers of three-year players
Rayonna Armstrong,
Valina Hudgins and
Amy Jackson! The trio has combined for some incredible numbers and were all members of the NJCAA Region XII Great Lakes District A Championship Team in 2020-21 (the second of back-to-back region titles for
Jay Ritchie and the Monarchs)! Congrats on an amazing career, Monarchs!
THE RUBBER MATCH
Tuesday's region quarterfinal will mark the rubber match for the Skippers and Monarchs after the teams split their regular season meetings, each winning on the road. The Monarchs earned a 61-55 win in Port Huron on Jan. 25 behind 42 combined points from

RECENT HISTORY VS. SC4
The past two seasons have been as even as it gets in the series between the Monarchs and Skippers with the teams splitting their four contests, 2-2. Prior to last season, the Monarchs went on a lengthy winning streak over a four season span. The only playoff meeting between the teams in the past 10 seasons went in favor of SC4 in 2016.
