WARREN – Another year, another strong academic showing for Macomb Community College athletics. The athletic department recorded a 3.04 cumulative GPA across its seven intercollegiate sports for the 2024-25 academic year after notching an equal 3.04 winter semester GPA.
Two teams posted department-leading 3.30 winter semester GPAs – baseball and women's basketball. Baseball's 3.30 winter semester GPA led to a 3.25 cumulative GPA for the 2024-25 academic year – the best cumulative GPA in the department. The women's basketball team boasted a 3.19 cumulative GPA, good for the best women's team GPA, while women's volleyball followed with a 3.11 cumulative mark.

- Baseball's 3.25 cumulative GPA was a product of 1,142 credits passed by the team (3,715.1 quality points).
- Women's Basketball owns the highest career GPA of current students at Macomb within their program at a 3.32. Baseball follows at 3.24 and women's volleyball checks in at 3.13.
- The career GPA of all currently enrolled student-athletes at Macomb is 3.08.
